If at 6 months of age the testicles are not in place then the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy needs to be neutered. When feeling for testicles in small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies one must keep in mind that the slightest pinch can cause the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy to automatically retract a testicle, so I always play it safe and never feel for testicles. I prefer to just wait and watch and usually around 8-10 weeks I can use one finger to gently touch and locate both testicles.
